He was born in Athens in 1964. He received his initial training in drawing and painting at the preparatory workshop of Vrasidas Vlachopoulos. From 1983 to 1988, he studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the Second Sculpture Workshop under instructors D. Kalamaras and V.Papaioannou. He was a scholarship recipient of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) from 1992 to 1995.
He has held five solo exhibitions in Athens: in 1994 at Maria Papadopoulou Art Gallery in 2001, 2005, and 2010 at the Ekfrasi – Gianna Grammatopoulou Art Gallery and in 2024 at Art
Space K4 (jointly with Giannis Koutroulis). Between 1994 and 2020, he participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece, selected either by public institutions (such as the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the Association of Greek Sculptors) or by distinguished curators like Manos
Stefanidis and Iris Kritikou.
His works can be found in public spaces (monumental sculpture)—such as the Heroes Monument in Sparta and the Monument to the Sailor Wife in Galaxidi—as well as in many private
collections in Greece and abroad.m Since 1996, he has been teaching freehand drawing and sculpture at AKTO – Art & Design. He
lives and works in Athens.
