George Pandazis is a Visual Artist and PhD Candidate of the P.D.E. University of Crete. He graduated with honors from Florina’s University of Fine Arts in 2016. Also in 2021 he received a master’s degree in Critical Pedagogy from the University of Crete. In the past, he collaborated with Zoumboulakis Gallery, Lola Nikolaou Gallery and Technohoros Gallery. He has participated in severals group exhibitions and events such as Art-Athina and has five solo exhibitions at the Lola Nicolaou gallery in Thessaloniki (New Equinox, 2016, Atropos, 2017 and The New Beyond 2019) and Technohoros Gallery in Athens (Micromeria, 2016 and Street Market 2019). He has been distinguished in the 2015 Osten International Biennale of Design in Skopje and the 2017 Indian Watercolor Biennale. Since 2018 he has been working as a Visual Arts Teacher at Primary schools of Rethymnon, organizing children’s workshops and art-educational Residencies (Plakias Art Residency 2019). Also in recent years he is a close collaborator / researcher at the Center for the Study and Research of the History of Education and the Teaching Profession (KE.M.E.I.E.D.E) of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the School of Education of the University of Crete.
